IPv6: Are you ready for 2010?

Internet protocol addresses of the current IPv4 are slated to run out by 2010-2012. The impact on internet based communications, and hence most telecommunications and global connectivity will be immediate and detrimental, unless IPv6 is in place. IPv6 enabled infrastructure is ready to go almost worldwide. Now the question is how to make use of this new protocol to produce more efficient and connected systems. IPv6 enables the Internet of Things as never seen before. The new protocol meets market needs in defense and security, global enterprise communications, media and entertainment, in-home connectivity, energy efficient system implementations, customer-retailer communications, shipping, storage and trucking, and a myriad other industries.

This year's IPv6 session will emphasize application development, the latest in IPv6 protocol updates, and a specific look at business case studies and ROI which show how IPv6 is being implemented around the world
